Freedom has a chance in Zibabwe, if the opposition party just backs out of an un-winnable election. According to an article @ NRO Roger Bate, a fellow at AEI, this boycott would cause the international community to take notice of the lack of democracy and it will increase tensions and squabbles amongst Robert Mugabe's ZANU-PF. He also argued that the State Department should make all aid, trade dependent on democratic reforms.
