O.K., so I misjudged the GMU Patriots inability to go toe to toe with the Gators. As much as I hate to say it, I'm pretty proud that the Gators are snacking on Bear meat after their impressive win last night.

I hate the Gators more than any team, in any league, at any time EVER!
That hate can only be topped by my hate for the Yankees, but since they haven't won a World Series since '01, all my brimstone is sent toward the Crocs in FL!!!!!
Seriously...I'm disapointed to see the Gators win. I do appreciate that the SEC had two teams in the FF (made me feel happy to hear all these BIG 12 fans complain!). But after the Crocs won, it made me sad for UGA basketball. There's NO reason we are as bad as we've been historically. No reason. Just as GA is a great recruiting state for football, it can be the same for basketball. The school has never focused enough attention (if any at all) toward the program.
Before Billy Donovan started coaching at UF, they didn't have much of a history either. They've won 20+ games like 7 or 8 years in a row now....but before that, they had only won 20+ four times in their history! (sounds like UGA, doesn't it?)
The Harrick scandle really set us back. Hopefully Felton can keep the course and make UGA respectable. There's really no excuses why we can't be.
