- Ever since I was a little child I have had a great interest in the news and events throughout the world. As a young child I also garnered a great respect for this nation and its desire to spread God's given rights of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness to the dark corners of the world which have been denied such rights for far too long. Call me idealistic if you will but if folks don't talk about and promote such ideas their society and way of life that we've grown accustomed to could blow away much like sands in a desert.
