On a recent visit to a conference at the International Institute of Security Studies in Singapore, Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld expressed his concern for China's increased military expenditure and its continued failure to provide political freedom to its people. Well, Secretary of State Rice has expressed her concern as well during her travel to the general assembly of the OAS in Florida. Just read what Bill Gertz reported in The Washington Times on this mutual concern between State and Defense. It about time they work together and present a concordant message, which is the Bush Doctrine.
