Iraq is slowly but surely demonstrating that it is taking hold of it's security with today's announcement that until after the December 15, 2005 election, the Iraqi border is closed to all non-Iraqi Arabs. Now with this barring of non-Iraqis, the Iraqi government has demonstrated that it can control its borders and makes it easier for the US military, Iraqi military/border guard forces to identify terrorists entering the country because they're the only ones who are trying to enter Iraq. So chalk this one in the improving column.
