Fire of Liberty
During the extended holiday weekend, I came across a wonderful article by Christopher Hitchens in the most recent edition of Vanity Fair which focuses on the current state of the Iranian countryside. While reporters like Mrs. Amanpour of CNN generally reports the party line of Iran, Hitchens has ventured further into the populous of Iran and saw the continued struggle and utter disregard that they have for the mullahs. You'll be very surprised to see what the folks really have to say about their masters. I you have time, check it out.
