Fire of Liberty
Charles Krauthammer has a brilliant column on the peace process between Israel and The Palestinians. He argues that by rejecting the land for peace agreement and accepting the peace for peace agreement, the participants could facilitate a workable peace. This means that instead of trading away land to create a peace, the Israelis demanded the complete stop in terror actvities on behalf of the Palestinian Authority. As Krauthammer noted, this cessation of terror was spurred on by a strong response to terror on behalf of Israel . Without a strong hand, the PA would have continued the intifada and the whole peace process would be null and void. We'll see if Abbas is a man of his word or just another Arafat. Stay tuned.
