Bolton: A US Champion

Fire of Liberty

David Brooks has a good column in The New York Times on the nomination of John Bolton. While he's no fan of Secretary Bolton's style and foreign policy, Brooks is on the same page with Bolton on the UN. Take a look:
John Bolton is just the guy to explain why this vaporous global-governance notion is a dangerous illusion, and that we Americans, like most other peoples, will never accept it.
Brooks pretty much lays out a case why we need Bolton to man the ship of the US in Turtle Bay. Though a handful of our most recent UN Ambassadors have fallen under the siren call of the UN, John Bolton will be a champion of the US and steer us away from dangerous rocky shores as all good captains do.
