Here's an example of what happens to a problem like gas prices or the environment when the government starts meddling. President Coolidge once said "Four-fifths of all our troubles would disappear, if we would only sit down and keep still." I wish someone would fill in the Republican Senators who have presented the two bills that they belong to the "small-government" party, which dispise onerous regulations that stifle prosperity. How about passing effective legislation like the President's energy bill, permanent tax cuts, or budget cuts.
