Carry On, Follow Through

Fire of Liberty
9/11

Let's take time on this sacred day to remember that we are at war with deadly forces that spend their every waking hour plotting and seeking a way to destroy this nation. The only way to clearly honor the memory of the thousands who were murdered by Osama's minions on that beautiful fall morning some four years ago is to continue to carry the fight to the various Islamic extremists and the nations that provide them succor. Until we swipe the slate clean within the Middle East of the Wahabbi/Salafist ideology of death as well as the totalitarian states that sustain these fever swamps. While we have gone about accomplishing such goals by ousting the tyrants in Afghanistan and Iraq and our stand with the "Cedar Revolutionaries" in the ousting of Syria from Lebanon, we still have a long journey ahead of us before we can close up shop on the Global War on Terrorism. I think Lord Winston S. Churchill put it best when he noted "This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning." So lets carry on with our fight, it's the least we can do.
