Here's a piece by Rowan Callick over at Tech Central Station that looks at the September 11, 2005 parliamentary elections and how it is a referendum of sorts on the reforms of the Japanese postal services and economy that PM Junichiro Koizumi has been promoting and pushing since he entered office. Hopefully, Koizumi will win this upcoming election to help push Japan's economy and overall well being to even greater heights thus ensuring it stays a counterweight to the emerging dragon of China well into the 21st Century. So here's wishing the "Lion King," and the LDP a good showing this Sunday.
