While I'm no fan of the Martin government of Canada and its Nanny State, I respect the Canadian people especially the sensable ones in the West. Anyway, I have several Canadian columnists that I enjoy and urge you to read.

The first is Peter Worthington of The Toronto Sun. Worthington, a veteran of The Korean War and vetern journalist. He has a way with words that put most writers to shame.

Second, is Mark Steyn who is required reading for a post 9-11 World. Steyn has an enormous bevy of work under his belt at The Atlantic Monthly, The London Spectator, National Review, The Daily Telegraph, and The Chicago Sun-Times.

Third, you have David Warren who is a columnists at the Ottawa Citizen as well as a contributor to Commentary and Crisis Magazine (The Adler).

Finally, you have George Jonas who writes for The National Post. Along with his column, Jonas has written some 13 books. Jonas tends to focus on The Middle East and the Outposts of Tyranny.
