The people of Iraq are very positive about their future. Based on this article in USA Today, the independent IRI (International Republican Institute) found in a recent poll that some 62% of the Iraqi public feel that Iraq is going in the right direction. As for those nervous nellies warning about a Islamic Republic in the style of Iran can be rest-assured that the people of Iraq aren't moving in that direction especially after the IRI poll revealed that 48% said religion should play a "special role" in the government while 44% voice a separation. Even better the poll shows only 4% favor Sharia law. I love it when the MSM predictions are shattered.
