EU Constitution

Fire of Liberty
A POLL has found for the first time that a majority of the French are likely to vote against the European constitution in the referendum in May.

According to the poll, conducted this week by the CSA Institute and published today in le Parisien, the daily newspaper, 51 per cent intend to vote "no" and 49 per cent "yes". It also found that 53 per cent of voters are likely to abstain on May 29.
Well, according to this piece in The Times, it looks like there is dissension in the ranks when it comes to the vote on the EU Constitution. You know you're in for stormy weather when the chief promoter of the EU-France-is having problems getting the "yes" vote out. I just hope the French people give the EU a what for on this horrible five-hundred page monstrosity known as the Constitution. Please vote no. For more, see here.
