Here's another reason why the whole concept of the super-national EU is complete nonsense. It seems the MEP's don't seem to have any checks on their power and they seem to care more for their cushy expense accounts than saving money. Do you really think that these people should be in charge of Europe as a whole. I think the voters in France, Holland, Denmark, and the UK are well aware of such "monkey business."
