"We knew this was coming because of my father's work. He and my brother died holding their heads up high. This gives me comfort."
These are the words of Maryon Mahmoud, who's father and brother were gunned down in front of their home on their commute to work. Based on this report, Judge Barawiz Mahmoud and his son, who both work on the special Iraqi tribunal prosecuting Saddam and his henchmen, were riddled with bullets by Saddam's loyalists and their fellow terrorists. It seems these mavens of death will do anything to stop Iraq from pushing itself towards a democracy. Fortunately, the people of Iraq are stronger than the thugs who killed the judge and his son. They put up with Saddam's sludge for thirty years and are fed-up with death, mayhem and Saddam's blood-cult. My prayers go out to the brave ones in Iraq who are spreading the flames of freedom and democracy.
