Kofi Annan: Hezbollah force to reckon with!!!

Fire of Liberty
Here's Kofi on Hezbollah:
"But even the Hezbollah—if I read the message on the placards they are using—they are talking about non-interference by outsiders... which is not entirely at odds with the Security Council resolution, that there should be withdrawal of Syrian troops," Annan told reporters.

"But that having been said, we need to recognise that they are a force in society that one will have to factor in as we implement the resolution," he said.
And the UN wonders why we don't trust them. The whole point about 1559 is for the Syrian military to get out of Lebanon and not to the Eastern half. So, while the US, France and other nations call for the implementation of the UN Security Council Resolution, Kofi Annan, the boss over at the UN wants to deal with terrorists. Remember this is the man who declared in 1998 that Saddam was a "man he could work with." Lebanon is being infected by the Syrian military and intelligence services not to mention the blood-cult terrorists Hezbollah, and Kofi is saying the UN might have to include the vile thugs of Hezbollah in their implementation of 1559. I guess when your organization can't define terrorism, then they definately would never be able to identify a terrorist group.

As for the thing about the banners yesterday, I figured he missed the irony of Hezbollah's supporters called for the end of foreign intervention but praised the main source of foreign intervention, Syria. I figured Kofi saw the banners proclaiming the "Death to America" and "Death to Israel" and decided these were freedom fighters promoting national independence.

Its time to clean house in Turtle Bay and push Annan out and end this canard of supporting terrorist groups.

The Cedar Revolution might look like its running on empty in the MSM but people of the blogosphere know the truth. I urge the people who love freedom and democracy to stand up to Hezbollah. You've come too far to stop now.
