Lebanon

Fire of Liberty

The Cedar Revolution continues to gain momentum in Lebanon. According to Lebanon's The Daily Star and various other news outlets, a statue of Hafez Assad was toppled in Qana, Lebanon by the anti-Syrian movement. Such a move is stunning, especially when it comes to ornaments of the late Syrian dictator. For those who don't know, it was taboo as well as illegal to condemn or desecrate the image and honor of the Syrain regime. It's just one more sign of the ever growing power of The Cedar Revolution movement. Click here, here and here for details.
