UK Needs More Nukes

I found the pro-nuclear power Leader in today's edition of The Times. While the "Green Lobby" and Prime Minister Blair continue to raise an alarm about Global Warming by implementing Kyoto and replacing coal/LNG fired power-plants with large wind farms and bio-mass fuel, the fail to notice that nuclear energy would be a better way to prevent the release of these climate changing contaminates. So instead of building an efficient, durable and pollutant free energy source, the Greens would rather destroy the beautiful countryside or coastline with large metallic turbines that will kill birds or large bio-mass farms taking up valuable living space. Know tell me what is environmentally sound about these approaches on behalf of the "Greens." At least with nuclear energy and the newly designed power-plants that reduce the amount of waste, the UK can go about limiting the emissions. The solution is nuclear power but Blair is too beholden to the Green lobby to do anything. As with most problems in this World the viable solutions get clouded over by meddling politicians.
