Fire of Liberty
According to this article in the Times a fanatic decided that Brother Roger, a 90 year old Lutheran minister and founder of the ecumenical Christian community, Taize, was not fit to live on this earth when she violently slit his throat in front of some 2,500 people. What's horrific is the fact that such wonderful and caring people like Brother Roger are struck down while the evil of the world like Mugabe, Kim Jong Il or Castro sit by and live it up. While I could carry on about the evil in the world, let me just celebrate the life of Brother Roger and wish him all the best in Heaven. I just hope my life is half a good as his was. So RIP Brother Roger.
