Eta strikes again

Fire of Liberty

It seems the Basque terrorists Eta have launched an attack on a convention center in Madrid. Read here. Luckily, King Juan Carlos, Queen Sofia and Mexico's President Fox avoided the blasts after the police recieved a bomb warning from Eta. While this explosion didn't kill anyone some 40 were treated for injuries. While people might argue that these terrorists at least warn their victims they still are terrorists and cannot be tolerated by a civil society. The Spanish government needs to get serious with Eta like the government of PM Jose Maria Aznar did from 1996-2003. You can't deal with these groups through negotiations but through diligent counter-terror work. The question is, can the Socialist government do this or will they cave to Eta like they did to the terrorists in Iraq.
