Fire of Liberty
After protests from the US and the people of Egypt, Ayman Nour, Egypt's opposition party Al Ghad leader, was released from prison. His release will also allow Nour time and freedom to possibly participate in the Presidential Elections. While Nour is predicted to gain some 30% of the vote if he goes against the Hosni Mubarak who would garner some 70%. Though the watchers of the Mid-East in the US State Department & the MSM might predict such a fairing, I predict the powers that be will be shocked by the people power in the voting booth. We'll see, the biggest problem is voting corruption and Mubarak's thirst for power. What the election will show is that theirs a viable choice other than Mubarak's party and it's not the Islamic radicals of the Muslim Brotherhood but a secular and liberal party known as Al Ghad (Tomorrow Party). I wish you luck Mr. Nour. Here's The Financial Times take and also The Washington Times piece on the release of Mr. Nour.
