Take a look at David Frum's insight on the UK election. He lays out a good arguments on why the Tories under Michael Howard should win. While Blair is a good friend to the US he still has a scary gaggle of "socialists" in Labour waiting in the wings to take up the reigns. If Gordon Brown takes over upon Blair's retirement expect some big problems and a souring of UK/American relations.
