National Missile Defense system gets boost.

Fire of Liberty

According to this piece in The Washington Times by Bill Gertz, The Pentagon announced yesterday that they have completed the construction of its X-Band radar. This new radar will provide the much needed track and control element of the ground based NMD system in Alaska, which is being constructed to prevent a ICBM attack from North Korea, Iran or even China. What's even better is that the X-Band Radar is on a converted oil platform which makes it movable to various locations on the West Coast and other areas of operations. I knew if they tried hard enough, The Pentagon and its various contractors would have the system up and running before 2008.
